Poster Print Giveaway

We are shaking things up a bit this week.  I know we normally have giveaways each Tuesday but we had an offer we couldn't refuse and due to their time constraints we need to start a day early and end early.  Hey that is good for you my readers because you could land a prize early!  Thanks for being here and now onto the giveaway of the week!

This week DigitalRoom.com will be giving away an 18x24” rolled poster print. If you would like to learn more about Digital Room's poster printing you can check it out HERE

I can't wait to receive my free poster print as well.  I inserted a sample of the picture I will be having printed although we are going to add a title across the top of the print.  Let me give you a little background so you can understand the comment requirements for this contest.

We went camping over the weekend and in the past we have done a lot of meal planning for the boys because they got a bit slack about planning their own menus.  Well being a Boy Scout you quickly learn the motto "Be Prepared".  Seriously how hard is it to apply two words to memory?  I imagine they remember the words but this was a lesson in applying them.

About a week before camp we typically have a meeting.  During this we make lists for equipment that will need to be on the trip, who is going, menus and such.  This time we decided the leaders would plan their menu and the boys would plan their own.

The last night in camp we had beef roast, new red potatoes, onions, carrots, au jus, sparkling grape juice and peach chocolate cake.  All were made in dutch ovens and it was sooooo delicious (Thanks Bob & Perry!).  Judy supplied linens, china and stemware (isn't it pretty?).  I will add more pictures in a separte post later for your enjoyment!

Little to say the boys came back from a variety of activities with moans, groans and jaws dropped.  We even had a few begging for scraps because hotdogs over the campfire just don't compare.  Lesson learned?  I think so we will see if they can be better prepared in two weeks when we go camping again.

We plan to put the poster in the Scout House as a reminder for the boys on planning preparation. Do you want to win your own poster print?  First off this prize can only be delivered in the US via FREE UPS ground shipping.  Second, you must do the following as your first comment before you can earn additional entries.
