A Sister's Test is the second book by Wanda Brunstetter in the Sisters of Holmes County series.

Ruth is the middle sister in the Hostettler family. She dreams of being a wife and mother to a house full of children. She even goes to the length of befriending a motherless child before she can have one of her own.

One evening Ruth's dreams are taken from her. How will she survive? Can she trust God to guide her on a path she cannot see through her heartache?

I enjoyed this book a lot. Ruth is a strong character and I could relate to her easily. I appreciate how Brunstetter can reel you into a family and entertain you through an entire series of books. She wins my approval yet again!
