Spoonful of Comfort

My family recently had the splendid opportunity to sample a meal from Spoonful of Comfort.  Spoonful of Comfort is a genuinely unique business that will send a homemade meal of Chicken Soup, Dinner Rolls and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies to someone who is feeling ill or just needs a pick me up. They use a special soup recipe with all natural ingredients - chicken stock, chicken, pasta noodles, carrots, celery, onion, parsley, salt and pepper - no additives or preservatives.

The soup, rolls and cookies come in a box packed with ice bags and stay remarkably fresh.  You are advised to eat within two days but you sure wouldn't be able to resist eating this delicious meal that long.  Our package arrived on a day when I had just had it.  The absolute last thing I wanted to do was cook.  Don't get me wrong I love to cook but there are days where you just don't want to do anything.  While Spoonful of Comfort is designed to be the perfect flower alternative to someone who is ill any busy mom would love this gift as a pick me up as well.  Oh and do splurge and sent the oatmeal raisin cookies.  They are aromatic, soft and chewy.  If I could order just the cookies I would splurge!
If you know someone in need or you just want to make someone smile with comfort food be sure to check out Spoonful of Comfort!
