With all the school supply deals going on I thought it would be a good idea to show you my school supply cart for How-To Tuesday. About two years ago I got really tired of trying to figure out how to store all the excess school supplies I buy. I buy them for several reasons: middle of the school year, donation and home use.
I bought a plastic three drawer cart and labeled each drawer (sorry the middle label fell off before I took a picture). The top drawer I fill with light weight items pens, pencils, protractors, an extra calculator, highlighters, markers and other little things. The middle drawer I fill with dividers, note cards, note card boxes, page sleeves and an extra accordian file. The bottom drawer holds the heavy stuff paper and folders mainly.Having this cart has saved me numerous trips of hunting for something a kid needs quick. I just send them to my office and have them pick out what they need. The cart cost me $10 but that was two years ago so your price may vary. Good luck organizing your school supplies!
