Thinking Myself Thin Thursdays

I am going to publicly admit it... I am seriously overweight!  I have hypothyroidism but I am also not a big mover.  I am working on making a change however.  Each Thursday I plan to update you and hopefully send some motivation out there to others who need to lose some weight and get fit.  I don't personally care if you need to lose 2 pounds or 200 but I hope to be brutally honest with my progress.  This is a really hard thing for me to do but I hope that someone emails me and gets on my case if I skip out on this series of posts. 

I weighed in at my club 9/23 with a loss of 2 pounds.  I have been going up a week and down a week for the past month and I hope to see another loss next week and break that cycle.  If I can lose a total of 10 pounds by 11/18 I can make $20 so cheer me on, leave me a tip and keep me motivated!

I seriously want to be able to keep up on those Boy Scout hikes and someday I want to be able to climb the walls at camp which I admire the boys doing but I cannot participate in now.

Congrats on the two pounds. Every pound counts and you are on your way. Sounds like you are committed to a lifestyle change for the better! Stay focused on your goal of hiking with the Boy Scouts. You can do it!
