My favorite cooking tip is to do the prep work ahead of time. Dice up lots of onions and peppers ahead of time and freeze them. If you use certain spices together all of the time, make your own seasoning mix.

My cooking tip: When cooking pasta, bring the pasta to a boil, cover with a tight fitting lid and turn off the burner. Let sit for the amount of time it says to cook on the box & the pasta will be done.

My tip is to clean as you cook. So while I am waiting for water to boil or the oven to pre-heat, I am constantly loading the dishwasher or washing dishes so when I am done eating, I don't have a kitchen disaster!

My cooking tip is to plan your menu ahead of time. I try to plan 2 to 4 weeks at a time. It alleviates extra trips to the store and that horrible sinking pit in your stomach when you are halfway through cooking dinner and you realiaze you are out of a key ingredient!

Ok, my first cooking tip is to order out whenever possible. LOL. I'm not really that great of a cook.
My second tip would be to learn how to make a few things really well, so you always have a sure bet when you're called on to make something. People know if we're having a potluck, I'll bring dessert. I know how to make good cookies, bonbons, and cakes, and that's about it.
