Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

With all the craziness around my life lately I haven't made it around to many How-To Tuesday posts.  I have really missed them and thought I would give you a simple one today that you can use for yourself or for Christmas gifts.

Simple Ingredients

Hot Chocolate Mix
8 Qt box Dried Milk
2 C. Nestle Quik
6 oz Non-dairy Creamer
1/2 C Powdered Sugar

Mix throughly and store in an airtight container.

To Use:
Mix 1/3 cup mix with 1 cup hot water. Enjoy!

I just mix mine in an old, clean ice cream bucket and add a 1/3 cup measuring cup to make it easy for the kids.  It would not be difficult to get some cute holiday zip bags and add enough for say 6 servings and tie with a bit of raffia and a note card with directions.  Place it in a mug and poof cute teacher, mailman, bus driver, ect gift!

Ohh , I made biscotti for everyone last year and gave out packets of quick mix , a jar of biscotti and a jar of home made quick mis will probably be easier to carry this year. Thanks for the idea !!

I love this! We did this last year except we put it in jars. Then we bought baskets and each basket had a jar, a bag of marshmellows and 2 mugs. They were a hit! The recipe we used was more complicated then this one! Thanks for sharing:)
