The Christmas Clock

Kat Martin will delight your imagination with the story of how one little boy tossed around in life with the dreams of buying a clock will bring change to so many lives.

Eight year old Teddy has no father, his mother has passed away and he is living with his "Gramma" who develops a rapid case of Alzheimers.  Teddy is determined to buy an antique clock his grandmother admires in town.  He goes about finding a job and saving his money all along changing the lives of those around him.

This is would be a great addition to a Christmas collection for any book reader.

My most memorable Christmas present was a box full of crocheted Barbie doll clothes from my grandmother. While that may not sound like anything special, my grandmother suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and she was bedridden. Her hands wer knarled and I am sure it must have hurt her to crochet. Yet she made me those clothes anyway. I didn't appreciate it at the time but it means a lot to me now as an adult. She passed away in the mid 80's but I still have those clothes and my own girls play with them now.

My sister once drew me a tiny little lion on a 3x5 scratch pad of paper and rolled it up. That was the present and it's still my favorite present of all time.

My most memorable Christmas present was 28 years ago. My husband, then boyfriend, presented me with an engagement ring on Christmas Eve. It was the best gift I've ever received.

When I was in high school, my parents gave me my "letter jacket". It was one of my favorite gifts!

My most memorable gift was a panda bear when I was 5 years old. I STILL have my panda bear. It's been with me through teenage drama, marriage, fears of babies....
