How to Make a Lavendar & Oatmeal Bath Bag

This is a little luxary that will keep your skin soft without a big price tag.  We all need a little pampering from time to time and you could easily make one of these for yourself or for a gift.  Here is what you need.
  1. 1 - 6 inch square of cotton fabric or muslin (if you are crafty you could sew two 6 inch squares into a pouch with drawstring so you could reuse it)
  2. 1/2 cups dried or fresh lavendar leaves
  3. 1 cup of oatmeal (not instant)
  4. String or ribbon
Combine all ingredients and place in the center of the cloth.  Tie closed with string leaving a tail.  Hold or tie the bag to the drain pull so that it hangs under the running bath water.  While taking your bath rub the moist bag over your skin for extra moisturizing.  Toss wet ingredients when done with bath as they will mildew or grow mold.

Do you have a How-to this Tuesday?  Leave a link and let me know!

I love this idea! Now I need a source for lavender, I can't find it locally.
