How To Make Hot Fudge Sauce Mix

Do you need a small gift quick well this might do the trick.  How about making a dry mix for Hot Fudge Sauce?  Yum yum.  You can eat it over ice cream, pound cake or just just warm it and dip strawberries in it.  It will drizzle over about anything and make your mouth water.  If I start to cook this my husband is in the kitchen eyeing the pan because he just knows the smell and the kids beg for more.

Today I am going to just show you how easy it is to make the dry mix so that you can gvie it as a gift or just have it on hand for speedy chocolate cravings.  Just don't try to drink it hot!

What you need...
  1. 1 cup sugar
  2. 1/3 cup cocoa
  3. 2 Tablespoons dry milk
  4. 1 quart Ziploc bag or pint jar

Now this is so easy.  Place dry ingredients in a bowl.

Stir until well blended.

And put into an airtight container such as a labeled Ziploc bag.

Now when you are ready to use the mix or when attaching an instruction card for the gift here is what you need to do.

Place mix in a saucepan. Add 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup of butter (not margarine).  Stir well and bring ingredients to a boil for 1 minute.  All ingredients should now be dissolved.  Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.  Stir and serve.  Keep remaining (if any) sauce in a jar in the fridge.

Do you have a tip for how to Tuesday?  I would love to check it out just leave a link in the linky form!
